Lunatic ??
Saying goes that women often are a little lunatic when they have their period - I would pretend that that's not true in my case, but you'll probably better ask my man... ;-) Oh well, ok, I admit, I cry easily when it's my time of the month...
I recently discovered a small something, though, that makes me very happy when it's 
that time again: the Moon Cup (or Diva Cup). This cup is a replacement for tampons and can be used for 10 years! It's very comfortable and discrete and you only need to rince it instead of throwing it away. And it also will make your purse and Mother Earth happy!
The only difficulty: Finding the Moon Cup in Brussels... Of course, you can order it on the internet. I preferred getting mine 'for real' and went to Les Choux Verts, an adorable baby and maternity shop close to Place Fernand Cocq.

On dit que les femmes sont un peu lunatiques quand elles ont leurs ragnagnas - ce qui n'est certainement pas mon cas... enfin, demandez à mon homme... Depuis peu, pourtant, on peu dire que j'adhére au 'lunatisme' quand j'ai ma période: j'utilise la Moon Cup (existe aussi sous le nom de Diva Cup) et j'adore ! C'est simple, c'est propre, et ca peut s'utiliser pendant 10 ans. Il suffit de le rincer, on ne produit plus des déchets inutiles comme avec les tampons... Ca s'achète sur le net ou chez Les Choux Verts.
